The Importance of Pre Training

The purpose of our pre training workout is twofold.
First, we hope to simply get you in the habit of setting aside a little time 5 days per week to conduct your workouts. It is of the utmost importance for you to do this if you want to be successful in the end.
Second, we you need to understand that, especially if you have been a bit sedentary, it is important for you to begin your workouts slowly in order to avoid injury later on in the training cycle.
Remember, it does not matter where you are with ability right now. If you carefully follow the minimum workout requirements between now and the triathlon you WILL be successful in your goal of completing it.
Be sure to use caution as you start to feel better during your pre training workouts. If you are truly a beginner we recommend that you stick to the minimum workout whenever possible as this will help you build up your endurance and avoid unnecessary injury along the way.
One other advantage to starting slowly is that you will be more comfortable if you decide to change your eating habits in an effort to lose weight.
Slowly building up your exercise routine causes you to suffer less during a change in diet than would pushing yourself too hard and expending too much energy right from the start. Coordinating a change in eating habits with a change in exercise always works better if you start slow and build your routine over time.
